This master file includes all subscribers through 1/17/94. It includes all records sent to NEA from AOL. Many records have duplicates because I reconstructed the bad AOL file Tim Taylor sent NEA in late November which was corrupted but contained valid indicative information about each subscriber such as subscription date and promotion code. I married this retrieved data to the "good "file AOL sent in early December but which did not include the extra data.
The purpose of placing this file in the library is a safety measure to insure that a copy remains available in the event something happened to my file.
To be used this file should have the duplicates deleted after insuring that a complete rcord is kept. There remain descepancies in this file because all should have a complete set of data either from the weekly AOL files after 12/06 or from the reconstruction of the 'bad' file. Yet some records do not include all data. I don't know why these records are complete. I believe we should send e-mail to all and verify.
